2017 Mountain Lions Kids Training Programs

Fall 2017:  Monday, September 11 - Saturday, October 21

(Fall Information Coming Soon)

Fleet Feet Sports Boulder, is currently in the planning phases for the 2017 Mountain Lions Cross Country Program.  This program is a fun and encouraging environment, and is a proud partner with Lifelong Learning, in which the children will learn the basics of cross country running. The program will be held at elementary schools through BVSD, it is a six week program, which will consist of practices twice a week, after school, as well as two meets.  Runners will learn speed-work, distance running and racing techniques.  They will learn good running form, improve both speed and endurance in an environment focused on the enjoyment of running.  Each participant will receive a technical shirt.

We have begun our search for coaches earlier this year as we want to provide the best program for the students.  In order to do so,  we are looking for coaches and parent volunteers.  No prior coaching experience is necessary, we will train you.  If you would like to be involved for the cross country season,  please email,  Mountain Lions Program Coordinator.

Sportsmanship is KEY to the Mountain Lions program… Good sportsmanship is when teammates, opponents, coaches, and officials treat each other with respect.

Sportsmanship Oath:

I promise to follow the rules...
To be fair...
To be a good sport... and honor my teammates!
I'll remember to have fun!
