He has been practicing in the field of sports medicine since 2002 as a board certified sport physical therapist, athletic trainer, and certified strength and conditioning specialist. Brian is sport residency trained from The Ohio State University and has practiced in various clinical and athletic settings, including high school, college and professional arenas across the country. Brian is passionate about assessing the root cause of injury as he uses his sports medicine background to specialize in movement dysfunction and how it can cause injury and impede performance. Brian embodies a “work hard play hard” mentality as he enjoys his Colorado lifestyle of skiing, running, biking, and exploring the great outdoors.
He is a doctor of Physical Therapy, certified athletic trainer and performance enhancement specialist, has been working in sports medicine for over a decade. Passionate about sports from a young age, the transition to treating others’ athletic injuries was a natural progression after a long resume of broken bones, injuries and sprains while competing as an NCAA athlete. Dane’s advanced training in high speed video analysis, EMG testing and force plate data implementation in the clinical setting is an excellent complement to any PT program. Currently an avid cyclist, runner, back country snowboarder and fly fisherman, Dane can relate to Boulder’s outdoor athletics obsession well and is ready to help patients return to sport faster than ever.
