Who We Are

LillyLilly Johnson-- A native of South America, Fleet Feet Sports Boulder owner Lilly Johnson has lived and run in Boulder for more than 10 years.  Lilly grew up with four sisters and six brothers in San Gabriel, Ecuador, a small town very close to the Colombia border.

When she was 13, Lilly moved to Quito with her brother, Silvio, and sister, Wilma to attend Simon Bolivar High School.  It's here that she discovered, and thrived at, competitive running - becoming a four-time champion in the 800m and 1500m events.  Lilly also earned the opportunity to represent her province, Pichincha, at Nationals, and Ecuador in the Sudamerican Championships, where she won a bronze medal in the 800m event.  After studying English and earning her college degree as an English teacher, Lilly quickly jumped at the opportunity to come to the United States to advance her English skills and her running.

In 1999, Lilly made her way to Boulder to be with her brother, Silvio - a move that proved to be a boon to her running career and personal life.  Lilly is proud to be a two-time Bolder Boulder citizens' race champion (2004 and 2005), and has been happily married to Jay Johnson (former co-owner of Fleet Feet Sports Boulder) since 2005.

Just a year after her marriage and second BB10K citizens' race victory, Lilly put running on the back burner and invested her time and efforts into building up Fleet Feet Sports Boulder as a vital resource in Boulder's running and fitness community.  In December 2010, Lilly became a U.S. citizen and truly loves her job of working at Fleet Feet Sports Boulder and interacting with and helping customers reach their fitness goals.

Graham Stoner -- Graham came to Boulder in September of 2011 from Hershey, PA after a not-so-short 12-year detour through Nashville, TN. A sprinter/hurdler/jumper in high school, he took a six-year hiatus but was later introduced to longer distance running with his Nashville running crew. Graham graduated from Middle Tennessee State University, worked in the music industry for three years, then ran a handyman company for four...he even won Nashville's Best Handyman two years in a row. Eventually he ran out of ideas on why not to move to Boulder, and the rest is history. He does marketing and is head coach for No Boundaries.

Jackson Barcheck-- After moving to Colorado in the summer of 2008, Jackson Barcheck fell in love with the beauty and promise of the Colorado landscape. Originally from the flatlands of St. Louis, MO, Jackson was an enthusiastic urban runner and gym climber who finally had the opportunity to explore his passions in the Rocky Mountains. Nowadays, Jackson's favorite climbing areas include Eldorado Canyon, Boulder Canyon, The Flatirons, Rifle, Indian Creek, Moab, and Yosemite to name a few. Jackson’s favorite place to run is Chautauqua Park and its surrounding trail systems. Jackson is also a talented musician (guitar, bass, banjo, etc.) who enjoys studying Italian, Spanish, Chinese medicine and martial arts in his free time.

Laurie Mizener -- I have been involved in the running retail business since 1995 when she moved to Boulder to pursue my running career. In 2001 I began working for Fleet Feet Sports Boulder and am the only remaining employee from the original staff. My knowledge of running and triathlon is vast and if you need information on gear,
training, racing, and staying healthy, I am your go-to person.

I was fortunate to qualify for and run in the 1996 Olympic Marathon Trials, and have a number of top ten finishes at US road racing championships. Today I race for fun (although I'm still hyper competitive) in triathlon, running, cyclocross, snowshoeing, and mountain biking. My daughter Aleah is about to be a teenager and is quite an accomplished athlete herself.

I enjoy working with all levels of athletes and non athletes at Fleet Feet, and get great satisfaction when I can help someone get the right gear and information. We have a great, friendly staff at Fleet Feet who are a joy to work with and I hope you will come visit us soon!
