Lee is the new owner of Fleet Feet Sports in Boulder. He comes to the store with an impressive resume as an athlete, business man and family guy.
A three time Olympian from Australia, and former Australian Record holder, Boulder has been home to the Troops for more than 6 years. Not happy with just resting on his laurels as a successful athlete Lee founded the Boulder Track Club which has become the most diverse and inclusive club in Colorado. This atmosphere is now being extended to Fleet Feet.
Lee's energy and plans for Fleet Feet are immense. It's not just about a place to shop but building a community. There will be a group running from the store almost every evening. Whether it's one of our training groups or a run followed by a beer and some food he wants everyone to feel welcome and part of the family.
Lee is charismatic, hard working and just an all around nice guy. Stop in anytime and say, "G'day".
Laurie Mizener -- Laurie has been involved in the running retail business since 1995 when she moved to Boulder to pursue her running career. In 2001 Laurie began working for Fleet Feet Sports Boulder and is the only remaining employee from the original staff. Her knowledge of running and triathlon is vast and if you need information on gear, training, racing, and staying healthy, she is your go-to person. Laurie was fortunate to qualify for and run in the 1996 Olympic Marathon Trials, and have a number of top ten finishes at US road racing championships. Today she races for fun (although she is still hyper competitive) in triathlon, running, cyclocross, snowshoeing, and mountain biking. Her daughter Aleah is a teenager and is quite an accomplished athlete herself. Laurie enjoys working with all levels of athletes and non athletes at Fleet Feet, and gets great satisfaction when she can help someone get the right gear and information. We have a great, friendly staff at Fleet Feet who are a joy to work with and she hopes you will come visit us soon!
